Ali Al-Abdulla, Board of Directors, Doha 2016

Ali Al-Abdulla, Director General of Qatar’s Urban Planning and Development Authority, is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Doha 2016 Bid Committee.

Mr Al-Abdulla currently serves on various boards including Qatar’s Public Works Authority, Qatar National Tourism and Hotels Company, Qatari Diar, the Qatar-Bahrain Causeway Foundation and the New Doha International Airport.

Before joining the Urban Planning and Development Authority, Mr Al-Abdulla worked in various positions with Qatar’s Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture.

Mr Al-Abdulla holds a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Miami in the US.
