Dr. Khalid Bin Jabor Al-Thani, Vice Chairman of National Health Authority
Dr Khalid Bin Jabor Al-Thani, Vice-Chairman of Qatar’s National Health Authority, is a member of the Board of Directors of the Doha 2016 Bid Committee.
Dr Al-Thani is Chairman of the Qatar Cancer Society and of the Gulf Union Against Cancer. He serves on the Board of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, chaired by Her Highness Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser Al-Misnad, where he is also chairman of the Elderly Committee.
Dr Al-Thani is the Vice Chairman of the Permanent Election Committee where he played a major role in empowering women and encouraging public awareness and participation in the parliamentary election of 2007. He is also a member of the board of the Shafallah Center for Children with Special Needs.
A graduate of Nova South East University, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with a Masters degree in Health Care administration, Dr Al-Thani qualified as a medical Doctor at King Faisal University in Saudi Arabia.
