Farid M. Al-Abdullah, Sport Facilities Director at QOC

Farid M. Al-Abdullah, the Director of Sport Facilities at the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC), is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Doha 2016 Bid Committee and its Facilities and Venues Director.

Mr Al-Abdullah has worked for the QOC since 2002 and was responsible for the sports venues of the Doha 2006 Asian Games.

Mr Al-Abdullah also serves as Vice President of Qatar’s Equestrian Sports Club as well as being a member of Doha Golf Club and the Car Racing and Motorcycling Sports Club.

He received a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from Arizona State University in the US.
